THE BEST MOTO MOUNT JUST GOT BETTER!

Like many other bikers I’ve been waiting for a wireless charging mount from Peak Design since the day I started using their system. The sleek and easy to use design has wowed many individuals out there, which I noticed again while working at ABR Festival this year for PD. Slightly biased? Maybe, but there is just simply no other system out there that is SO convenient to use AND still has some damn good looks. And now the upgrade everyone was waiting for is here! Or at least the Kickstarter has been, well, kicked of. Check out the awesome deals and grab your new phone mount.

* When you shop through the link in this article, you’re not only investing in quality gear for yourself, but also in the future of my platform. Your decision to purchase through this link will give me a small kickback to pursue new adventures on two wheels but incurs no additional costs to you. Happy shopping and many thanks!

Yes, I’ve had the competitors products in my hands too, and NO, I did not like them. Bulky, too many parts that needed stacking, annoyance when trying to get your phone onto the mount. I need a fast and secure fit and none of those provided me that. Up to this point I used my Ball Mount Adapter and my usb cable that connected to the port in my dashboard, but that will soon be over, because I ordered my wireless charging moto mount.

No more ‘Oh sh!t, my phone is almost empty’ while getting to your destination, because despite the charging I sometimes ended up with less battery percentage than with what I started, like what?! No more rides like that with the Qi2 charging in this new mount, that has a 2x faster peak charging speed (15W).

SlimLink™ is Peak Designs built-in locking system. It’s fast, it’s super strong and you can even get your phone off the mount with one finger. You may have seen it in my videos already, but you just attach your phone before you can say “MOTO!”. The magnets line it up, the locking teeth hold it on. Just click and go!

“But my camera will break, but my phone will crash, but, but, but…”. You’re ok, don’t worry. These mounts are designed from the ground-up with precision-tuned vibration damping and tens of thousands of kilometers of test rides. The result is a system that achieves best-in-class performance yet is significantly lower profile.

There are 5 different Peak Design Moto Mounts, each available in charging and non-charging versions. Each mount is designed to attach to a different part of your bike, the options can be spotted below (from left to right: Bar Mount, Ball Mount Adapter, Brake/Clutch Mount, Stem Mount, Mirror Mount).

What else is there to say?

Not much really. The most frequent question I got was about the built-in vibration dampener. You can read everything about the development process here.
If you would like to grab one of those new wireless charging mounts, than click here. As stated above when ordering though this link, you not only get yourself some incredible quality gear, but you also help me in adventuring on, as I receive a small kickback. I deeply appreciate if you do.
